Our speaker this coming Saturday will be Kirby Brendsel. Kirby will present “Weston - Siversk, the city partnership between Our Weston and the one Ukrainian town, among many others, which lost most of its population due to the war.
The town of Weston has created a steering committee, chaired by Larynx Kolzina, to educate Westonites about the needs in Siversk. Our partnership has been described as ”nothing but a pure act of kindness.”
The Weston sister city program is coordinated under the auspices of Ukraine Aid International as part of a regional effort that includes sister city programs with the towns of Easton and Westport.
The IRS has classified Ukraine Aid International, Inc. as a 501(c)(3) exempt public charity.
Join us on Saturday, April 13th, at Norfield Church Hall, Norfield Rd. Weston Ct. Doors open at 8 a.m. The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m.
