Since 1974, Weston Kiwanis has supported many worthy causes in our community and beyond through philanthropy and assistance to youth and people of all ages.
Weston Kiwanis consists of the Kiwanis Club of Weston, Connecticut, Inc. and the Kiwanis Club of Weston Foundation, Inc. and share one common membership; the foundation's membership consists of all the members of the club. The foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) organization* with governance documents approved by Kiwanis International. Because of its not-for-profit status, contributions to The Kiwanis Club of Weston Foundation, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. History of Giving
Since 2000, Weston Kiwanis has contributed over $460,000 in support of its mission to change the world, one child and one community at a time.
Recent recipients of the generosity of the Foundation include Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Fairfield County, Norwalk Hospital, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and Project Eliminate, a joint UNICEF and Kiwanis International program to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus worldwide.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees elected by the membership. The Board officers are the president, secretary, treasurer, and immediate past president who serve one-year terms. All trustees serve staggered three-year terms.
